May visit saw the group on a rainy wind-swept Dartmoor to visit Foggintor Quarry close to Princetown, famous for Dartmoor prison. John Noblet led our group and supplied all the history as well as photographs of the quarry in its heyday. We had a picnic lunch in the heather & socialised with group members.
